Active days and sleepy nights

I have started getting out of the house more now that he has gotten a little bigger.  We can usually go somewhere for a short time and we both feel refreshed just getting out.  By late afternoon he will sleep just about anywhere.  I was making dinner one night while he was in the bouncer and turned around and he had fallen asleep.

All smiles

Around 11 weeks Leo is starting to really smile.  These are the first ones I caught on camera.  Usually when he smiles my heart melts and I don't want to run and get the camera so I just stay and smile back at him!!

Nono's visit

Nono came and visited at the end of July.  He brought with him a zucchini from Uncle David's house that was as big as Leo.  Leo wasn't sure what to think of Nono and the big zucchini he brought down with him. Soon enough he found Nono to be a good snuggle buddy.  Nono also thoroughly cleaned his room, our floors and made dinner while he was here.  We went out to Casa Cha Cha the last night Nono was in town and Leo was mesmerized by all the lights.  Thanks Nono for the visit.  

2 months old

We had a family photo shoot when Leo turned two months old.  He hammed it up in front of the camera!!

8 weeks old

Leo is completely in awe of our ceiling fans.  He is constantly looking up and if they are on he is so focused that there isn't much that will distract him.  He seems to be fascinated by our crown molding too.  So I call him our little architect.

4th of July

We went to Auntie Kate and Uncle Paul's house for the 4th.  Thank you Auntie Kate and Uncle Paul for having us over.  It was another nice warm Texas day.  We sat out by the pool for a little while and enjoyed some hamburgers and hot dogs.  Leo enjoyed being held and was so comfortable he snoozed the whole time we were there.  What an angel!!

Uncle Darrell's visit

Uncle Darrell flew in from Massachusetts to meet Leonardo.  We spent most of the time at home.  I started using the sling so that I could walk around with Leo and get things done around the house.  We did make a few trips out.  The last night we went up the Firewheel in Garland and had dinner at Gloria's.  Thanks Uncle Darrell for visiting.  Leo can't wait to play baseball with you when he gets older.

Leo officially meets Dr. Garner

Leo wasn't at all impressed!  He cried the whole appointment and as soon as we left he was fine.  Dr. Garner played a huge part in bringing Leo into the world healthy.  Thank you Dr. Garner!

Grandma's visit

Andy's mom came and visited us for the week.  He was showing grandma his play yard and how he can move his head around while he is on his tummy.  He had also become very alert at 6 weeks old.

First time out to dinner

A little over a month old we took Leo out to dinner for the first time.  This place has the best burgers!  We sat outside while Leonardo snoozed an then we went for a walk.
