Sleeping, playing, bathing and snuggling
Leonardo in action! He has gotten really good at hitting the toys in the play yard with his hands. He is also getting so close to rolling over when he is in his tummy. What a smart boy!
Leo notices Zeke
Leo loves this baby boy!! Finally Leo notices him and Zeke was practicing all the self control he had not to lick Leo's face.
Picnic at White Rock Lake before Nona goes back to NH
Back again at White Rock Lake but this time officially with Leo! We ate lunch looking out over the water and then walked over the bridge and around some of the lake. There was a nice breeze and the weather was perfect.
First trip out to the park
At about 2 weeks old we took Leo down the street to the park. He is going to love it when he gets older because there are two playgrounds there. It is nice to be a couple blocks from the park.
The pups meet Leonardo
Our neighbors across the street, Shelley and Bill Doss, took care of the pups while we were at the hospital. Austin and Zeke would go over everyday if we let them. Thank you Shelley and Bill for treating them so good and making our transition home so easy. They also helped us introduce them. Zeke has taken the role as big brother very seriously and I think he is just as tired as Andy and I.
Leo's personality started shining through as early as the sonograms. He has always been expressive with his hands. He is 6 days old in this picture. I absolutely love his expressions!! What a beauty!!
Mothers Day, Going Home and Nona Arriving
I had always said I wanted Leonardo to be here a little early so that I could spend Mothers Day with him and I got my wish!! We got to bring him home on Mothers Day. As we were approaching the house I noticed balloons saying "Its a boy" and it took Andy and I a second to realize they were in front of our house. Thank you Kate and Jalynn. To make it even better Nona flew in the same day. Leo and Nona already have a special bond!
The next day...
Auntie Kate, Auntie Jalynn and Zia Annie came to visit us at the hospital the next day. They brought balloons and a big stuffed animal dog. We were so happy to have them be apart of celebrating Leonardo.
Welcome to the World Leonardo Ewan
Welcome to the world Leonardo Ewan Latamore. He was born on May 9, 2012 at 12:43 pm. He came out strong and healthy. Andy and I were so happy to have him in our arms finally!!

36 weeks
Room is ready!! I believe I was starting to feel ready at this point too! Everything started to feel a little more real. We are actually having a baby!
31 weeks pregnant
March in Texas is Bluebonnet season and they are everywhere. Another trip to White Rock Lake and as I recall it was a hot day!! I could only be out there for so long before I needed to be in the shade. The dogs loved the trips to the lake.
